The Vacation:
I remember, as a small boy, seeing the Walt Disney version of the Italian story of Pinocchio in which wayward boys were lured to a mysterious "fun island" and magically transformed into braying, long-eared donkeys which were then sold as beasts-of-burden.
In some ways, the scene portrayed in this picture reminds me of the story of Pinocchio and I have adapted it to a modern day fantasy, where as a gay man, I am enjoying a vacation at a "gays only" resort on a remote tropical island which is besieged by modern-day pirates and slavers.
Along with all the other vacationers, I am taken captive, stripped naked, shackled and now wait on the beach ready to be loaded onto their vessel and carried away into slavery.
Our destination?
Most probably some exotic slave-market in the Middle East where our arses will be "flogged off" (sold) to the highest bidder.

As a Dutch that however has grown in Italy, in my childhood I read the tale of Pinocchio in its original book-form.
In it wayward boys, unwilling to go to school and to obey their parents, escape toward a "City of Toys" where they should pass the whole time in playing and amusing and in eating cakes and candies .... while -as you rightly say- a mysterious spell transforms them into donkeys that are actually sold as BURDEN BEASTS !
Actually I never thought of your fascinating GAY / BDSM variation of this story ..... but it's really charming

ReplyDeletewhat a stunning picture. So much anticipation etched in the body of the new slave can be sensed even without seeing his body. Perhaps, if he were unfortunate enough to draw the attention of the captain and crew, he could also be destined to ply the oars of their slave galley.
I'm glad to see that you are posting regularly again and here at this site. I have missed your insights at bdsmlr.
