Thumb raised; cock drooping! Out of petrol, this boy is hoping to "thumb" a ride to the next gas station.
But on a lonely stretch of a back country, dirt road with no passing traffic, there is always the anger of attracting the wrong attention.
Soon, his abandoned car will be reported by a passing motorist and the police will investigate. But without any leads, they will eventually abandon the investigation and the hitch-hiker will be listed as another "missing person".
Eventually, he'll fade from memory and his file stamped "unsolved".
However, the hitch-hiker will re-appear on an auction-block in some secretive Middle Eastern slave market.
