ReplyDeleteOf course I'd like to be among the courtiers of Caesar to "savour" a bit, also myself, these gorgeous "THINGS THAT ARE CAESAR's"........ starting from the brawny and heavily shackled young bull on the right, and from the delicious "blond beauty" in the background.
A favourite of Caesar confided to me that, in his greathearted generosity, our Emperor, during this night banquet, will cast lots to see which two lucky noblemen, among his dining-guests, will win as gifts these two gorgeous pieces of male flesh !
Obviously I’m one of the fortunate guests ! ……… hmmmm ! ……. on which of these two magnificent animals should I focus my hopes of winning ? …… the sturdy, huge young bull or the teenage blond Ganymede ?
For all the gods of Olympus, what a difficult question and what a torturing doubt !
